The assessment ainount adopted for your property is$6,4000.The assessmeiit will appear on your 2005 tax statement and is for a 15-year period 2. Interest Rate. The interest rate applied to the assessment is 6.25%. 3. Initial Prepayment Period. The final date for full or partial prepayment of the assessment without interest is Monday,November 30"', 2004. 4. Future Prepayment Periods. Beginning in 2005, and every year thereafter, the reinaining outstanding assessment may be paid off in fiill before November 15"', or interest will be charged through December 31 of the next succeeding year. Senior Citizen Assessment Deferral Owners of homestead property who are 65 years or older may apply far a defernient of the special assessment if they meet the income criteria set forth in City Council Resolution#2864. Sanitary Sewer Connection Information Your property has a nonconforming septic system, and City policy requires connection to sewer by the same date that a nonconforming septic system would need to be replaced.The current deadline for the replacement of nonconforming septic systems, in this neighborhood is, Deceinber 31, 2007. Any building permits for house additions that would require enlargement of a nonconforniing septic system will require connection to the sewer before completion of the building project.
