Both were damaged by the heavy, wet snow fall early in the winter
season. We were called to remove the damaged portions of the trees.
Upon examination of the trees, both were damaged beyond any point of repair. If you examine
the stump on the tree removed nearest to the lake, you will find substantial rot in the stump
which extended up the tree. The other tree had lost a sufficient number of branches so that
recovery was not possible.
I am now aware that the City should have been contacted even for the removal of damaged
trees within a certain setback from the lake and will do so in the future.
If you would like to discuss this matter with me, please call me at 612 384 7700.
Sincerely,
_'
<i-,- G
Brian Tongen
cc: Jim and Joann Jundt ` Z ~ (
