.
Sr .ESTING, INC6 Steven B. Schirmers — MPCA Cert. No. 627
 951 Katydid Lane E • St. Michael, MN 55376 • (612) 497-3566
Novembe 19 , 1994
Mark Harrington
4080 Bayside Rd.
Orono , Henn. Co . , MN I
This site has an existing Pressurized Mo nd System for a 3BR home .
The system will be increased for a SBR h me .
The mound will be added to at each end o the rock bed . The
existing mound will need the topsoil rem ved to the washed sand
with a backhoe with no travel on the mou d. The tank capacity
will require an additional 1000 gallon h lding tank. The pumping
chamber is a 1000 gallon capacity which eets City code for minimum
capacity. Recommend to reshape and dive t the run off away fom
the pumping chamber .
The future expansion is on 7o to 90 slope & will need approval
by the City Official .
The soi7.. at a depth of 12" have a perc lation rate averaging
2 . 9 min/inch.
Al1 neighboring wells are located great r than 100 ' away from the
proposed treatment area.
Keep all heavy equipment off of the pro osed treatment area before
and after construction. The treatment rea should be marked off
before construction. This Design is no valid & the system will
need to be relocated if failure to prot ct the areas proposed
for On-Site Sewage Treatment occurs.
With proper installation and maintenanc , this system should have
no problem in treating septic effluent ffectively.
Nothing other than gray water (laundry, showers , etc . ) human waste
& toilet tissue should be disposed into the septic tanks . Garbage
disposals are not recommended. Excessi e amounts of soaps , cleaning
agents & chlorine agents may kill the b cteria needed to treat
septic effluent. Additives are not rec mmended . Recommend to pump
& clean your tank through the manhole b a certified pumper every
year if you have 1 tank and every 2 yea s if you have two tanks .
; /_ .
f
even B.
