. � <br /> PC Exhibit I <br /> CMP Part 5.Plan Im lementation <br /> PERIODIC REVIEW The Community Management Plan is intended to be <br /> reviewed by the Planning Commission and City Council,and updated if necessary, <br /> on an annusl basis. <br /> PLAN AMENDMENT After formal adoption of this CMP by the City Council, <br /> there shall be no amendments made to the plan content except by the following <br /> Procedur�: <br /> Amendment iniiiation may be by direction of City Cvuncil,official action of <br /> any City Commission,recommendation of the City Administrator,or formal <br /> application by any eitizen or properiy owne,r. <br /> Amendment review shsll in all cases be referred to the planning <br /> Commiesion wluch body ma,y in turn request review by any other City <br /> Commission and/or City staff.Any amendment dealing with parks,recreation <br /> or housing density shall be referred also to the Park Commission if one is <br /> active for official recommendation before action by the Planning <br /> Commission. <br /> Public Hearing-no amendment shall be made in the CMP unless or until <br /> the Planning Commission has held a Public Hearing thereQn, following <br /> � posted and published notice of the Hearing in the official newspaper at Ieast <br /> 10 days prior to the Hearing. <br /> Recommendation-Following t3�e Public flearing,the Planning Commission <br /> shall make a written recommendation to the Council regarding the proposed <br /> amendment <br /> Final Amendment - Upon receipt of the Planning Commission's <br /> recommendation, the City Council may or may not ohoose to amend the <br /> CMI'• Any amendment made sha1l be by Resolution of a majority of the <br /> Council members.All amendments shall be frnwarded to all jurisdictions and <br /> agencies receiving the original CMP and shall be subject to Metropolitan <br /> Council review and comment. <br /> , <br /> 1 <br /> Chy of Orono Com�muaity Management Plan�008-2030 Page S-3 <br />
