�r <br /> � O� <br /> O O <br /> � ���b� - CITY of ORONO <br /> � � � <br /> ti <br /> ��� ��'�' RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> �kESHOg NO. 3 2 2 9 <br /> A RESOLUTION GRANTING <br /> VARIANCES TO <br /> MUNICII'AL ZONING CODE <br /> SECTION 10.28, SUBDIVISION 5 (B) <br /> FILE #1789 <br /> WHEREAS, Libbie Hopwood (hereinafter "the applicant") is the owner of the <br /> properry located at 1205 Lakeview Avenue within the City of Orono (hereinafter "City") and <br /> legally described as follows: � <br /> Lots 12 and 13, Block 1, "Maxwell's Addition" to Crystal Bay, Lake Minnetonka, <br /> Hennepin County, Minnesota (hereinafter "the property"); and <br /> WHEREAS, the applicant has applied to the City for variances to Municipal <br /> • Zoning Code Section 10.28, Subdivision 5 (B) to pemut the complete reconstruction of a <br /> residence destroyed by fire requiring approval of an area variance of 75%, property has a total <br /> of 21,357 s.f. or .5 acres where 87,127 s.f. or 2 acres is required, a front street setback <br /> variance of 25' or 50% and a side street setback variance of 20'8" or 41.6% where a�50' <br /> setback is required. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> FINDINGS <br /> 1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File #1789. <br /> 2. The property is located in the RR-1B Rural Residential Zoning District. <br /> 3. The Orono Planning Commission reviewed this application on January 19, 1993 <br /> and recommended approval of the proposed variances based upon the following <br /> findings: � <br /> A.
