Levang stated he developer has done a very good <br />job at listening to the Council and that she likes the road layout. <br /> <br />Printup stated he would like to see a trail of some sort along Old Highway 12. <br /> <br />McMillan noted there is a trail on the other side of the road. <br /> <br />Printup stated he would like to see it extend further westward and not necessarily on this property. <br /> <br />Loftus noted the turnback committee decided not to have a trail on that side of the road. <br /> <br />Gonyea stated the thought was that these would be quieter streets and that they would lose the capacity to <br />do some berming and screening if there is a trail. Gonyea stated there was also talk about adding <br />sidewalks. <br /> <br />Printup stated he is not in favor of sidewalks. <br /> <br />Levang stated someone would be losing some of their front yard because of the sidewalk. <br /> <br />Barnhart stated sidewalks were suggested for pedestrian access in lieu of a trail. Barnhart stated berming <br />to protect the privacy is more important than a trail. <br /> <br />Printup stated he would be in favor of having a trail easement, with the trail not being constructed as part <br />of this project. <br /> <br />Walsh stated he is not happy with the setbacks. <br /> <br />Gonyea stated they will take a look at it and see if it can be increased. <br /> <br />Walsh stated he is concerned about the visibility and safety with the homes that close to the road. <br /> <br />McMillan stated on some of the lots with the smaller setbacks, the house could perhaps be reduced. <br /> <br />The City Council took no formal action on this item. <br /> <br />*13. #15-3790 CITY OF ORONO AND CLIFFORD OTTEN, OUTLOT C, EAST WILLOW <br />WOODS (2350 WAYZATA BOULEVARD), EASEMENT VACATION – RESOLUTION NO. <br />6562 <br /> <br />Levang moved, Walsh seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION NO. 6562, a Resolution Vacating the <br />Road and Utility Easement Over Outlot C, East Willow Woods, Hennepin County, Minnesota. <br />VOTE: Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br /> <br />MAYOR/COUNCIL REPORT <br /> <br />Walsh stated he had nothing to report but that he would like to wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving. <br />
