MINUTES OF THE <br />ORONO CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />Monday, November 23, 2015 <br />7:00 o’clock p.m. <br />_____________________________________________________________________________________ <br /> <br />Page 36 of 41 <br /> <br /> <br />Levang stated she wants to hear more and also make sure all the easements are in place for the Ilene <br />Street residents. Levang stated she would like the City to hang onto the one lot. <br /> <br />Walsh stated he would like to clean this up. <br /> <br />Barkley stated they are trying to make it easy for the neighbors so they can continue doing what they have <br />historically done. <br /> <br />Mattick asked if any title work has been done on this. <br /> <br />Barkley stated the deeds are past the 30-year time limit, and that what he has been told is that after the 30 <br />years are up, the City gets to do what they want to do with it. <br /> <br />Mattick stated in terms of selling the land that would be true. Mattick stated if it was not used for a public <br />purpose, it reverted back to the state, but since then a statute was passed that says the City is eligible to <br />sell those parcels. Mattick stated if it is cleaned up, he would also recommend cleaning up the parcel <br />represented by the red dot. <br /> <br />Walsh asked if that is Torrens property. <br /> <br />Barkley stated to his knowledge it is. <br /> <br />McMillan stated the parcel to the far left is what the City is interested in cleaning up along with the parcel <br />represented by the red dot. <br /> <br />Mattick stated the City could pursue a purchase agreement and then someone could draft documents that <br />would grant access to the other homes. <br /> <br />Barkley indicated he can do that <br /> <br />McMillan stated she would suggest talking to the LMCD as well to see what he would be allowed with <br />the additional 615 feet. <br /> <br />Levang asked if they would need to apply for an annual dock permit. <br /> <br />Gaffron stated if it is three docks, they would need to apply for a dock permit with the City. <br /> <br />The City Council took no formal action on this item. <br /> <br />12. #15-3752 ESTATE DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION – TOM GONYEA, 475 OLD <br />CRYSTAL BAY ROAD NORTH, SKETCH PLAN <br /> <br />Tom Gonyea, Estate Development Corporation, was present. <br /> <br />Barnhart stated the applicant is seeking Council input on a proposed 39 unit, single-family neighborhood <br />on 17.26 acres located at the southwest quadrant of Wayzata Boulevard and Old Crystal Bay Road.
