RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> '� � '��, ��`��� �, No. � 3 � � <br /> '�� ;. , Gti : . <br /> ��'kE3�I0g'� � . <br /> WHEREAS, on November 8, 1993 the applicant arid the City �agreed to an <br /> amended plan for the location, dimensions, and delineation and permanent marking of a fire lane <br /> at the front of the building. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, . <br /> Minnesota that the commercial site plan approval granted in Resolution No. 2229 is hereby <br /> amended as follows: <br /> � 1. � The site plan referenced as "85-018 revised 6/30/87" is amended by eliminating <br /> the 14' x 64' fire lane and replacing it with the fire lane plan attached to this <br /> resolution as Exhibit A. � � <br /> � 2. The fire lane shall be marked as follows: <br /> a. The curb shall be painted yellow between the outer edges of the two <br /> • doorways. <br /> b. Signs shall be mounted adjacent to the outside of the doors, flush with the - <br /> building and located approximately 3' in height, with arrows pointing <br /> - towards the opposite door, and indicating "No Parking - Fire Lane". <br /> � c. The existing portable sign shall continue to be placed on the pavement <br /> midway between the two entrance doors. <br /> . 3. Diagonal striping of the pavement will not be required, but the City reserves the <br /> right to review this in the future if the Police Chief deems it necessary. � <br /> 4. Enforcement of the fire lane shall be per items 2, 3 and 4 of Police Chief Stephen • <br /> Sullivan's memo to all officers dated 9/1/93, attached to this resolution as Exhibit <br /> B. <br /> 5.
