NO. �' . <br /> ti <br /> ��9 g�G <br /> kE88� <br /> A RESOLUTION VACATING <br /> - A DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENT <br /> OVER LOT 2, BLOCK 1, ECKSTROM ADDITION AND <br /> � OVER LOT 4, BLOCK 1, PHILLIPS WOODLAND TERRACE, <br /> FILE NO. #1872 <br /> • WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation organized and existing under <br /> the laws of the State of Minnesota; and <br /> WHEREAS, on August 27,1993, Paul R. Phillips and Orono Woodlands Inc., a <br /> Minnesota non-profit Corporation filed a petition with the Ciry of Orono requesting the vacation <br /> of drainage and utiliry easements originally dedicated in the plats of Eckstrom Addition and <br /> � Phillips Woodland Terrace legally described as follows: � <br /> • the existing drainage and utility easements over Lot 2, Block 1, Eckstrom Addition and <br /> over Lot 4, Block 1, Phillips Woodland Terrace, as dedicated in the respective plat <br /> . thereof, Hennepin County, Minnesota; and <br /> . WI�REAS, after due published and posted notice, a public hearing was held before <br /> �, the Planning Commission on September 20, 1993, regardin� said vacation and all interested <br /> persons were given an opportunity to be heard; and <br /> WI�REAS, after due standing and consideration, the Planning Commission <br /> recommended unanimous approval of the proposed vacation and the Council of the City of <br /> Orono finds that said vacation as proposed is in keeping with the public interest'and in <br /> consideration of the following: <br /> �. 1. A current plat of a lot line rearrangement involving both properties finds it <br /> � necessary to vacate the original dedicated drainage and utility easements and rededication <br /> of new easements to conform with newly defined lot line. <br /> 2.
