I�i a� g v� <br /> ti <br /> ���� o¢�G <br /> ESS <br /> A RESOLUTION GRANTING <br /> VARIANCES TO <br /> MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br /> SECTION 10.22, SUBDIVISIONS 1 (A) AND 2 <br /> FILE #1897 <br /> WHEREAS, R. Hunt Greene and Jane E. Piccard (hereinafter "the applicants") <br /> are owners of the property located at 865 Partenwood Road within the City of Orono (hereinafter <br /> "City") and legally described as follows: <br /> Lot 1, Block 2, Partenwood, Hennepin County, Minnesota (hereinafter "the property"); <br /> and <br /> • WHEREAS, the applicants have applied to the City for variances to Municipal <br /> Zoning Code Section 10.22, Subdivision 1 (A) and 2 to permit the construction of a 650 s.f. <br /> garage and storage addition to the south side of the existing residence to be located 39' from the <br /> channel at the east side of the property where a 75' setback is required and 50' from the <br /> Maxwell Bay shoreline where a 75' setback is required and a hardcover variance in the 0-75' <br /> setback area where 4,497 s.f. or 9.77% exists and where 5,066 s.f. or 11% is proposed. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> FINDING5 <br /> 1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File #1897. <br /> 2. The property is located in the LR-1B, Lakeshore Residential Zoning District <br /> requiring 1 acre in area. The property consists of 46,000+ s.f. <br /> 3. The Orono Planning Commission reviewed this application on January 18, 1994 <br /> and February 22, 1994 and recommended approval of the proposed variances as . <br /> amended based upon the following findings: <br /> � <br /> Page 1 of 5 <br /> � Fam 5005 Dlsk Omno <br />
