6389223 <br /> � CITY of ORONO <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> NO. <br /> 8462 <br /> l9xx0¢�i <br /> A RESOLUTION GRANTING A VARIANCE <br /> TO MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br /> SECTION 10.24, SUBDIVISION 5 (B) <br /> FILE NO. 1944 <br /> WHEREAS, Bradley Etherington and Dina Etherington (hereinafter "the <br /> applicants") have an interest in the property located 4055 Elm Street within the City of Orono <br /> and legally described as follows: <br /> Lot 7, 8 and 9, Block 9, Minnetonka Summit Park, Hennepin County, Minnesota <br /> (hereinafter "the property"); and <br /> WHEREAS, the applicants have applied to the City for a renewal variance to <br /> Municipal Zoning Code Section 10.24, Subdivision 5 (B) to permit construction of a new <br /> residence on a property that consists of 19,920 s.f. or .46 acres where 43,560 s.f. or one acre <br /> is required. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> FINDINGS <br /> 1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File #1944. <br /> 2. The property is located in the LR-1B Lakeshore Residential Zoning District <br /> requiring one acre in area. <br /> 3. The Orono Planning Commission reviewed this renewal variance application on <br /> both July 18, 1994 and August 15, 1994 and recommended approval of the <br /> variance application as proposed, based upon the following unique findings and <br /> hardship: <br /> A.
