Troyak and Mary C. Troyak (hereinafter "the <br /> applicants ) are owners of the property located at 2525 Kelly Avenue within the City of Orono <br /> �� <br /> (hereinafter "City") and legally described as follows: <br /> Lot 1, Block 5, TOWNSITE OF LANGDON PARK, and that part of adjoining vacated <br /> • Kelly Avenue lying northwesterly of the northeasterly extension of the southeasterly line <br /> of said lot, and southeasterly of Tract D, Registered Land Survey No. 1428, Hennepin <br /> • County, Minnesota (hereinafter "the property"); and <br /> WHEREAS, the applicants have applied to the Ciry for a variance to Municipal <br /> Zoning Code Section 10.22, Subdivision 1 (B) to permit the construction of an�addition to the <br /> west side of the residence that will be located approximately 33' in front of an average lakeshore <br /> setback line where no such encroaclunent is allowed.. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br /> Minnesota: , <br /> FINDINGS <br /> 1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File #1936. <br /> 2. The property is located in the LR-1B, Lakeshore Residential Zoning District <br /> requiring 1 acre in area. The property consists of 2+ acres. <br /> �� <br /> 3. The Orono Planning Commission reviewed this application on June 20, 1994, and <br /> recommended approval of the variance as proposed based upon the following <br /> unique findings and hardships: <br /> . <br /> • .
