Kipfer and Greg H. Sargent, (hereinafter "the Applicants") <br /> - ar.e the owners c,f the properry located at 320 Turnham Road within the City of Orono <br /> (hereiaafter "City"; and legally described as: <br /> � Lotc 1 and 2, Block 1, Cliippewa Third Addition, Hennepin County, Minnesota <br /> � (her�inafter "the ProFert��"); and <br /> WHEREAS, on September 19, 1994 the Applicants applied to the Cit�� of Orono <br /> reqUesting the City issue a building permit for certain year round living area expansi�ns v��ithin <br /> a detached garage; and � <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission in consideration of the Applicants' � <br /> request, reviewed the potential for easy conversion of the expanded area as an indeFendent <br /> residential unit oz guest house, and acted upon such request for a conditional use permit, as <br /> though such request included such use; and <br /> VVHEREAS, the City Council of Orono (hereinafter "Council") has considered <br /> this application including written reports by the City staff, tlie unanimous rzcommendation of <br /> the Planning Commission, the comments and written statements of the applicants. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Council hereby denies a <br /> conditional use permit based on one or more of the following findings of fact: <br /> • Page 1 of 8 <br /> - Fwm5005 DiskOrano <br />
