Nt W &Awr Conrkcop4c" <br />1 <br />REVISOR <br />4714.0311 INDEPENDENT SYSTEMS. <br />rdt - <br />4714.0311 <br />Subpart 1. Section 311.0. UPC section 311.0 title is amended to read as follows: <br />311.0 Use of Public Sewer and Water Systems Required. <br />Subp. 2. Section 311.1. UPC section 311.1 is amended to read as follows: <br />311.1 General. If a public sewer is available in a street or alley to a building or premises <br />and the connection is feasible, liquid waste from any plumbing system in that building <br />shall be discharged into the public sewer unless otherwise prohibited by this code or a local <br />ordinance. If a public water supply is accessible, the water distribution system shall be <br />connected to it unless otherwise permitted by the Authority Having Jurisdiction. A private <br />water well taken out of service because of a connection to a public water supply shall be <br />maintained pursuant to Minnesota Rules, chapter 4725, Wells and Borings. <br />Every building shall have its own independent water and sewer connection except that <br />a group of buildings may be connected to one or more sewer manholes on the premises that <br />are constructed to standards set by the Authority Having Jurisdiction. <br />Statutory Authority: MS s 326B.43; 326B.435 <br />History: 40 SR 71 <br />Published Electronically: January 25, 2016 <br />Copyright ©2016 by the Revisor of Statutes.
