<br /> <br />13 January 2020 <br /> <br />Will Haack <br />Gordon James Construction, Inc <br />5159 Hwy 12 <br />Maple Plain, MN 55359 <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR FURTHER INFORMATION <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Zoning Application #LA20-000002 <br /> <br />The City of Orono is required to notify you within fifteen (15) business days as to the status of your <br />application for after the fact variances for property located at 2665 Casco Point Road. Below is a list of <br />items the City of Orono is requesting to complete our review. <br />1. Current Site information. The survey and hardcover calculations uploaded appear not to reflect the <br />deck placed near the boathouse. If the deck has been removed please provide clarifying <br />information. <br />a. Submit Updated As-Built Certificate of Survey reflecting the current site conditions and <br />hardcover on site. <br />b. Submit Updated As-Built Hardcover Calculations. All proposed hardcover shall be <br />calculated on the hardcover worksheets that are enclosed. The hardcover calculations must <br />be completed by your surveyor. Note, for properties with hardcover in the 75-foot lake <br />setback, the hardcover within the 75-foot setback must be identified as such for the <br />calculations – see the instructional note on the top of the hardcover calculation sheet. <br />2. After the Fact application fee (double fee) $275. The current application is for consideration of <br />after-the-fact variances. The after-the-fact double fee applies. Please submit $275 either online or <br />in our office. <br />3. Practical Difficulty Criteria. The provided practical difficulty criteria will be used to justify your <br />request. Based on the information provided, staff cannot support the variances. If you wish to <br />change or supplement your existing submittal please do so in the online application. <br /> <br />Application #LA20-000002 is incomplete. If you wish to proceed with your application please submit the <br />items requested above by January 22nd in order to remain on the February 18th Planning Commission <br />agenda.
