Steinmetz (hereinafter .,rhe applicant") is the owner of the <br /> property located at 1155 Brown Road South within the City of Orono (hereinafter "City') and <br /> legally described as follows: <br /> Refer to Exhibit A attached (hereinafter "the property"); and <br /> WHEREAS, the applicant has applied to the City for variances to Municipal <br /> Zoning Code Section 10.23, Subdivision 5 (B) to permit constriction of a 6.2'x12' single story <br /> addition and 6' roofed deck along the entire exterior of existing residence that will be located. <br /> 2' from the street lot line adjacent to County Road 146 and 48.8' from the street lot line at <br /> Willow Drive where a 50' setback is required. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE JT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono. <br /> Minnesota: <br /> FINDINGS <br /> 1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File #2045. <br /> 2. The property is located in the RR-IB, Rural Residential Zoning District requiring <br /> 2 acres in area. The property consists of 19,827 s.f. or .46 acres. <br /> 3. The Orono Planning Commission reviewed this application on August 21, 1995, <br /> and recommended approval of the variances as amended based upon the foliowirg_= <br /> findings: <br /> A. Traveled County Road is loca:ed 42' from the street lot line. <br /> TRANSFER ENTERED B. The existing residence is located 52'± from traveled road. <br /> HENNEPIN COUNTY TAXPAYER SERVICES <br /> C. Northeast corner of the addition will be located 2' from the street lot line <br /> NOV 7 1495 hut 44' from the traveled right-of-way of the County Road. <br /> ,t�' Page 1 of 5 <br />
