ITEM #8 <br />AVERAGELAKESHORESETBACK <br />3. Section 10.56, Subdl6., C., 6., Average Lakeshore setback <br />No principal or accessory structure shall be located closer to the lakeshore than the average <br />distance from the shoreline of existing residence buildings on adjacent lots, except that this <br />does not apply to stairways, lifts, landings, and lockboxes. Further, the average lakeshore <br />setback shall apply only to classified lakes, and shall not apply to tributaries. The average <br />lakeshore setback line shall be a straight line connecting the most lakeward protrusions of <br />the residence buildings on the immediately adjacent lakeshore lots. <br />The average lakeshore setback is between approximately 163' (northside) and 182'(southside) <br />from the shoreline. The deck of the proposed residence will be forward of the average <br />lakeshore setback approximately 8'. The existing house is located forward of the average <br />lakeshore setback by 13 '-20'. The proposed design ~ is more conforming to the average <br />lakeshore setback than the existing structure. The proposed residence requires an 8' variance <br />from the average lakeshore setback. <br />STRUCTURAL COVERAGE ANALYSIS <br />4. Section I 0. 03, Subd 14(C), Structural Coverage <br />Lot Coverage.
