WHEREAS, pursuant to IVlinnesota Statutes 282, the City has received from Hennepin <br /> County a list of lands within the City which have become the properry of the State of Minnesota <br /> � for non-payment of real estate taxes; and <br /> , WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said lands for compliance with local zon�ng <br /> ordinances, for the amount of outstanding special assessments remaining unpaia to the City, <br /> , and/or for possible public use by the City as authorized by the Statutes. In addition the Council <br /> : • has reviewed said lands and pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 85.021, 92.461, Su`bd. 8, 282:018, <br /> Subd 1 or 282.018, Subd 2. <br /> NO�', THE�FOR�, I3� IT ItESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Orono, <br /> pursuant to Minnesota� Statutes 282, hEreby approves the classification of tlie following parcel <br /> . of land as non-conservation land, and furthermore, approvcs lhe �ut�lic sale of said parcel of <br /> land as listed below to adjacent property owners. This property is unbuildable and made up of <br /> mostly wetlands. It should also be noted that this property is adjacent to a former landfill site. <br /> ; All parcels remain subject to all applicable zoning ordinance provisions, including those <br /> : regulations providing for minimum lot area and minimum lot width. �ubstandard parcels may <br /> be useable only in combination with other adjoining parcel(s). <br /> � Release of this land by the City Council is subject to the condition that all outstanding <br /> special assessments shall be paid in full to the City upon return to private ownership. Any <br /> atnount not recovered at the time of sale shall be subject to reassessment by the City. <br /> .. . <br /> 1 <br />
