MINUTES OF THE <br />ORONO CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />Mon ay, February 12, 2018 <br />7:00 o'clock p.m. <br />astor stated the City has to straighten this mess out. Kastor stated with the two catch basins , it was fine <br />an the water was clean , but now it is full of algae. Kastor stated he is concerned that it will flow out int <br />the toward Narrow 's Bay and that he would like the City to restore it to what is used to be. <br />Mayor sh closed the public hearing at 7:28 p.m. <br />Rief stated the ·ty does maintain the stormwater basin up towards the road and that what i <br />with the bridge is rther down by the shore . <br />Walsh stated the City is ery cognizant of water quality issues. Walsh noted the <br />fire lanes originally were d by the firefighters to take water from the lake to <br />some of them provide access the lake.
