G;---ron, Assistant Zoning Administrator <br />Date: March 13, 198b l <br />Subject: Status of Septic System at 2280 Fox Street <br />The City of Orono has approved the proposed design for a <br />trench -type drainfield system to serve this property. The system <br />will incorporate an effluent pump in a 3rd tank discharging to <br />the uphill drainfield area. The tanks were installed in December <br />1985 but the drainfield has not yet been installed due to weather <br />conditions. The drainfield area has been staked off, and we <br />expect the installer, Jerry Johnson Excavating Inc., will be able <br />to finish the system when the soil dries out to below the plastic <br />limit in May or June. In the interim, Mr. Anderson will be <br />granted permission to use the tanks as holding tanks, and must <br />have them pumped by a licensed contractor as necessary. (A <br />temporary certificate of occupancy is required prior to any <br />occupancy of the house before final inspection). <br />A final layout and sFecification card and final inspection <br />report will be submitted to the owner when the system is <br />complete. <br />BUILDING & ZONING - 473.7337 ADMINISTRATION !
