Meinhardt (hereinafter "the applicant") is the owner <br /> •of the property located at 3585 Sixth Avenue North within t11e City cf Orono (hereinafter "the <br /> City") and legally described as follows: <br /> That part of the west 208 feet of the southeast quarter of Section 29, To��wnship <br /> 118 North, Range 23 West of the fifth principal meridian lying southerly of the <br /> centerline of County Road No. 6 as per Dacurnent No. 4190220; Hennepin <br /> County, Minnesota (hereinafter "the property"); and <br /> • WHEREAS, the applicant has applied to the City for a variance to Ordinance <br /> No. 144, Second Series, Section 5 that would allow the City to issue a building permit for the <br /> construction of a 26' x 26' addition to the rear'of his residence on a property located u�itl�in <br /> Area 4 of a study area of the Highway 12 corridor. The ordinance would �rohibit the City <br /> from issuing a building permit until the ordinance expires on July 22, 1996 or the ordinance <br /> is repealed earlier if the Council det�rmines that the study has been completed. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Cc�uncil of Orono, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> FINDINGS <br /> 1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File #2123. <br /> 2. The property is located in the RR-1B Single Family Rural Residenr_ial Zonin� <br /> District requiring two acres in area. The property consists of three-pltis acres. <br /> ;. The proposed 26' x 26' addition to be constructed at the rear of the residence <br /> will require no setback variances or any other variances to the Zoning Code. <br /> � Page 1 of 2 <br />
