� °� � <br /> � o 0 <br /> ��b. � C ITY of ORONO <br /> � � � <br /> ti <br /> �� t,'�' RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> � ��kESH�4� NO. e� "� � `� <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE <br /> PRELIMINARY LAYOUT FOR THE RECONSTRUCTION <br /> OF CSAH 6 FROM TOWNLINE ROAD TO WEST OF TH 12 <br /> PROJECT 9444 <br /> WHEREAS, Layout No. 03 Hennepin County Project No. 9444 showing proposed <br /> improvements to County State Aid Highway N0. 6 has been prepared and presented to the City; and <br /> WI�REAS, the Hennepin County Department of Public Works' Policies for Cost Participation <br /> Between Hennepin County and Other Agencies for Cooperative Highway Projects addresses the <br /> utilization of tax increment fmancing on County projects by municipalities; and <br /> WHEREAS, this improvement does not provide adequate width for on-roadway parking. <br /> • NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved that Layout No. 03 be approved and that the <br /> Counry is hereby authorized by the City to acquire all rights of way, permits and/or easements required <br /> for said improvements in accordance with Layout No. 03; and <br /> BE IT FiTRTHER RESOLVED, that parking shall be banned within the project limits on <br /> CSAH 6; and <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the city will not use tax increment financing for any <br /> portion of the project cost; and <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the city request the County to proceed with detail plans <br /> and specifications for said improvement; and <br /> BE IT FLTRTHER RESOLVED, that the ciry request the County to prepare a Construction <br /> Cooperative Agreement for said improvement. <br /> Adopted by the Orono City Council on this 28th day of October, 1996. <br /> • ATTEST: Edward J.
