Mertz, 1820 Fox Street <br />SUBDIVISION <br />The soils and site evaluation report for the proposed new lot has been <br />submitted and reviewed. My boring on the site confirmed the boring <br />logs submitted. While slight mottling was found at a depth of 4h feet, <br />indicating some seasonal saturation, it would appear that a shallow <br />standard drainfield system can be installed on the site with room for <br />an alternate system to the south of the lot. <br />I also reviewed the existing septic system for the Mertz residence and <br />it appears to be functioning correctly. There is ample area on the lot <br />for future drainfield should reconstruction ever be necessary. <br />Based on this information, I recommend approval of the subdivision as <br />proposed. <br />
