ROBINSON AND SHAREEN ROBINSON FROi�1 HOLDING AN <br /> UPILAWFUL GATHERING AT 4555 VdAY'ZATA BGULEVARD <br /> Fv'�iEREAS, Dick Gerald Robinson and Shareen Robinson have � <br /> advertised by poster, in local bars, their intention to conduct <br /> a commercial venture charging admission fees and serving food and <br /> beer on their property at 4555 Wayzata Boulevard on August 12, <br /> 1983 ; and � � <br /> WHEREAS, the Orono Police Department has been informed that <br /> upwards of 300 people are expected to attend the proposed event on <br /> August 12, 1983; and <br /> WHEREAS , the large assembly is in violaticn of various <br /> ordinances of the City of Orono and state statutes; and , <br /> � � WHEREAS, the Robinsons have not applied for the a��ropriate <br /> permits and licenses necessary for such a proposed gathering; and <br /> - FiHEREAS , on August 5, 1983, Shareen P.obinson was informed af <br /> the illegality of the planned gathering; and <br /> WHEREAS, the health, safety, welfare ann comfort ot th e <br /> citizens of the City of Orono will be damaged by such a proposed <br /> gathering, <br /> � NGW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the City Council of the <br /> City of Orono authorizes its City Attorney to appear before the <br /> Hennepin County District Court immediately to apply for a <br /> Temporary Restraining Order to restrain the Robinsons from <br /> conducting an illegal assembly at 4555 V,�ayzata Eoulevard on Auyust <br /> 12, 1983 . � <br /> Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono at a <br /> regular meeting on the 8th day of August , 1983 . . <br /> � � G <br /> Mary C. tler, ,ayor <br /> �1>;� . <br /> ' AT T E S T: .
