~IINlITES OF TIIE REGULAR ORONO CITY COUNCil. <br />'MEETING HELD ON NOVEMBER 28, 1994 <br />(*#7) #1969 CITY OF ORONO, 1355 BROWN ROAD SOUTH -VARIAN CE _ <br />RESOLUTION #3500 <br />Jabbour moved, Kelley seconded, to adopt Resohrtion #3500 approving a variance to the <br />front setback requirement to enable the construction of a parking lot to serve the Crystal <br />Bay Post Office. Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />(#8) B-2 ORDINANCE PROPOSED A1"1ENDrv!ENT <br />Callahan moved, Kelley seconded, to tab1e the amendment to the December 12, 1994 <br />meeting of the Council. Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />MAYOR/COUNCIL REPORT <br />Callahan suggested a work session on Highway 12 Planning be S{;heduled for 8:00 a.m . <br />on December 6, 1994. The Council members agreed to meet on tha.t date. <br />Burr entered into the record a letter .vritten by Hurr voicing her concern with the <br />decision to change the Council meeting times without the item being on the agenda and <br />without her presence. <br />The time of the Council meetings will be re-considered when all members are present. <br />Ei"tGINEER REPORT <br />Glen Cook had no comments. <br />CITY ADMJNISTRA TOR'S REPORT <br />(#9) OLD CRYSTAL BAY ROAD BIKE/HIKE TRAIL <br />Moorse updated the Council on where the bike trail plan is at the present time. The <br />Council was provided with a re-drafted agreement with Hennepin Parks and outlined <br />changes. Staff is looking for authorization from the Council to formalize the agreement, <br />and allow Staff to prepare bid specifications and advertise for bids on the first phase of <br />construction of the bike trail. <br />Callahan asked for clarification on what the CoW1ty \vill pay. <br />7
