Mabusth, Zoning Administrator <br />D111 April 12, 1983 <br />SUBJECT: #735 - Latry Bader - Brown Rc )uth - Preliminary and <br />Final Subdivision <br />Planning Commission Action - Subdivision Approval - Public Hearing <br />Application - Plat - Three Lots <br />Zoning District RR-lB <br />Area - Nine-pl!)F• Acres <br />List of Exhibits <br />Exhibit A - Planning Commission Minutes - May 4, 1981 <br />Exhibit B - Council Minutes - May 27, 1981 <br />Exhibit C - Final Plat <br />Exhibit D - Resolution <br />The City staff has worked with the widow of Ruxron Strong,Patricia Strong, <br />for over a year on the finalizing of the plat, Stronghold. The original <br />subdivision application, #609, received preliminary approval on May 27, <br />1981. The City allows a year after preliminary approva'. to finalize a <br />plat. For two years, staff has worked with several individuals who were <br />to assist Mrs. Strong in completing the plat. Over a month ago, I was <br />advised that Mrs. Strong would be forced to sell the property as one parcel <br />t.) a Larry Bader prior to final approval. The plat and accompanying <br />documents had to be revised for they would now require the signature of a <br />new owner. <br />The City staff asked the new owner to file a subdivision application and <br />called for a public hearing as the original public hearing for the plat <br />was held two years ago, May 4, 1981. <br />In review of the Planning Commission minutes of May 4, 1981 and the Council <br />minutes of May 27, 1981 (Exhibits A & B), staff can adv ;e that the existing <br />septic system for the Strong house has been approved by Michael Caffron <br />and that the road outlot entrance has been extended to a 50 foot width for <br />the first 100 feet et the request of then County. <br />Staff has drafted a resolution for final approval of Stronghold. H <br />recommend both preliminary and final approval of tarry Bader's subs ision <br />application. <br />
