O 6'749482 <br /> � O O <br /> z- - CITY of ORONO <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> ��9kE <br /> 814 NO. .8892 <br /> A RESOLUTION GRANTING VARIANCES <br /> TO MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br /> SECTION 10.28, SUBDIVISION 5 AND <br /> SECTION 10.22, SUBDIVISION 2 <br /> FILE NO. 2228 <br /> WHEREAS, Frank and Kathleen St. Lawrence (hereinafter "the applicants") have <br /> an interest in the property located at 253 Cygnet Place within the City of Orono (hereinafter <br /> "the City") and legally described as follows: <br /> Lot 9, Block 1, Swan Lake Addition, Hennepin County, Minnesota (hereinafter <br /> "the property"); and <br /> WHEREAS, the applicants have applied to the City of Orono for variances to <br /> Municipal Zoning Code Section 10.28, Subdivision 5 and Section 10.22, Subdivision 2 to allow <br /> for an additional garage stall addition onto an existing residence, to increase hardcover and to <br /> encroach into the side yard. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> FINDINGS <br /> 1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File #2228. <br /> 2. The property is located in the RR-1B Single Family Rural Residential Zoning <br /> District requiring two acres. The property is sewered. <br /> 3. The Orono Planning Commission reviewed this application on April 21, 1997 <br /> and recommended approval of the proposed variances based upon the following <br /> unique findings and hardships: <br /> A.
