CITY OF ORONO <br />NOTICE <br />The Planning Commission will hold public hearings in the Council Chambers at 2780 Kelley <br />Parkway on Monday, July 19, 1993 on the matter of reviewing the following land use <br />applications: <br />1. #1829 Diane E. Sieff of 1080 Wildhurst Trail seeks approval of after-the-fact hardcover <br />variances for deck additions and deck repair of existing decks where excesses of <br />hardcover exist between the 75-250' setback area. <br />2. #1840 Jim Taylor, the current owner of 1342 Rest Point Circle, seeks approval of a <br />hardcover variance within the 75-250' setback area for the installation of a wooden <br />walkway connecting paved drive to deck at street side of residence. <br />3. #1841 William and Lori Cornelius, the current owners of 960 Tonkawa Road, seek <br />approval of lakeshore setback and hardcover variances that would allow portions of an <br />existing access drive to remain within lakeshore protected area. <br />4. #1842 Tom and Sheila Browne of 760 South Brown Road seek approval of a lakeshore <br />setback variance from Tanager Lake, a Recreational Development Lake requiring a 100' <br />setback for all structures. Applicants propose the following improvements within the <br />lakeshore protected area: installation of a three season porch over an existing deck and <br />expansions of existing first floor deck to the south and west side, expansion of a second <br />floor deck to the south and east side of the structure and the installation of an above <br />ground pool. <br />All persons wishing to be heard will appear at the meeting.
