6'793231 <br /> O O <br /> CITY of ORONO <br /> RESOLUTION OFlH€ C�IT�Y COUNCIL <br /> 9kES�I04 NO. yy <br /> A RESOLUTION GRANTING <br /> A VARIANCE TO <br /> MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br /> SECTION 10.22, SUBDIVISION 2 <br /> FILE #2274 <br /> WHEREAS, Bryce E. Peterson and Mary Pat Peterson (hereinafter "the <br /> applicants") are owners of the property located at 2829 Casco Point Road within the City of <br /> Orono (hereinafter "City") and legally described as follows: <br /> Lot 116, in Spring Park, Lake Minnetonka, together with the lake shore property <br /> contiguous thereto, containing that portion of the Lake Shore Avenue, heretofore <br /> vacated; defined by an extension of the Easterly and Westerly boundary lines, of said <br /> lot to the shore of Lake Minnetonka, according to the plat thereof on file or of record <br /> in the office of the County Recorder, Hennepin County, Minnesota (hereinafter "the <br /> property"); and <br /> WHEREAS, the applicants have applied to the City for a variance from <br /> Municipal Zoning Code Section 10.22, Subdivision 2 to add a 10'9"x4' bay window which is <br /> considered structural hardcover to an existing residence to be located over existing rock which <br /> is considered non-structural hardcover. A variance for hardcover in the 75-250' setback is <br /> required to allow 6,417 sq. ft. or 59.65% hardcover where 6,460 sq. ft. (60.05%) is existing <br /> and 2,689.25 sq. ft. (25%) is allowed. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> FINDINGS <br /> 1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File #2274. <br /> 2.
