*Certification exemption: The certification of the plan by a licensed professional maybe exempted by the city <br />engineer if the project meets all of the following: <br />1) An existing survey accurately describes existing property conditions; <br />2) Proposed project exceeds the setback requirements by 150%; <br />3) Proposed project footprint does not exceed 200 square feet; <br />4) Evidence that the Average Lakeshore setback is met is provided; and <br />5) Information necessary to ensure the project conforms to City codes and ordinances, including hardcover, <br />grading, and landscaping requirements is provided. <br />Additional surveys may be required, depending on the nature and complexity of your project. <br />Foundation survey: A foundation survey, when indicated on the building permit, shall be submitted upon <br />completion of the foundation work for all buildings and all additions to buildings and include: <br />1. Verification of the lot dimensions, <br />2. Verification front, side, rear, lakeshore, and wetland setbacks, <br />3. Foundation elevation at the same locations depicted on the survey developed for the project. <br />As -built survey: An as -built survey, where required, shall <br />1. Certify the final topography of the site; <br />2. Verify drainage patterns; <br />3. Verify hardcover calculations. <br />4.
