Box 66 <br />Crystal Bay, MN 55323 <br />Phone (952) 249-4600 Fax (952) 249-4616 <br />NOTICE <br />The Orono Planning Commission will hold a public hearing in the Orono Council Chambers at <br />2780 Kelley Parkway on March 21, 2016, beginning at 6:30 p.m . on the matter of reviewing the following <br />land use applications: <br />16-3808 <br />16-3811 <br />16-3812 <br />16-3813 <br />16-3814 <br />16-3816 <br />16-3817 <br />15-3784 <br />Rick Denman on behalf of Casco Ventures, LLC, 3800 Casco Avenue, LR-1C zoning <br />district, requests lot area, lot width, front and rear setback variances in order to redevelop <br />the property. <br />Landsource, LLC, 3438 Lyric Avenue, requests lot area and lot width variances in order to <br />redevelop a property 6,715 square feet in area and 50 feet in width where 21,780 square <br />feet in area and 100 feet in width are required. <br />Greg Reitan & Sally Neubauer, 925 Brown Road North, request approval of an average <br />lakeshore setback variance in order to construct an addition on the street side of the existing <br />home lakeward of the average lakeshore setback line. <br />Dale Gustafson on behalf of Matt Burns, 1180 Loma Linda Avenue, requests hardcover <br />and setback variances to permit construction of retaining walls within 75-feet of the OHWL <br />of Lake Minnetonka. <br />Alexander Design Group on behalf of Peter & Melissa Santrach, 1700 Bohns Point Road, <br />requests hardcover, lot area , and average lakeshore setback variances in order to <br />redevelop a property 0.62 acre in area where 1.0 acre is required, partially lakeward of the <br />average lakeshore setback line, and with 27% hardcover where 25% is permitted . <br />City of Orono , Zoning Code Amendment regarding the placement of docks for public safety <br />purposes in the City. <br />City of Orono, Zoning Code Amendment regarding the definition of Existing Grade. <br />City of Orono, Zoning Code Amendment regarding lighting regulations for all land uses <br />including Residential, Commercial, and Industrial. <br />All persons wishing to be heard are encouraged to attend these meetings. This is not a final agenda and <br />is subject to change prior to the hearings. Written comments are accepted and should be submitted to <br />the City of Orono by March 15, 2016 if possible . Interested persons may review the applications and <br />proposed ordinance language at City offices or by visiting the City's Website at www.ci.orono.mn.us.
