S , <br /> A R�SOLUTION GRANTING�A VARIANCE TO <br /> � - MU1vICIPAL ZONING CODE � <br /> SECTION 10.22, SUBDIVISION 2 AND <br /> S�CTION 10.24, SUBDIVISION 5 (B) <br /> . FILE #2237 <br /> WHEREAS, James Stasik and Roxanne Stasik (hereinafter "the applicants") are <br /> owners of the property located at 1270 Wildhurst Trail within the City of Orono (hereinafter <br /> "City") and legally described as follows: <br /> Tract A, Registered Land Survey Number 1132, files of Registrar of Titles, Hennepin <br /> County, Minnesota (hereinafter "the property"); and <br /> � WHEREAS, the applicants have applied to the City �for a variance from <br /> Municipal Zoning Code Secfion 10.22, Subdivision 2 and Section 10.24, Subdivision 5 (B) to <br /> replace an existing deck. A hardcover variance of 24.01% to allow 13,174 s.f. (49.01%) to <br /> remain where 6,720 s.f. (25%) is allowed. � � <br /> NOW, TI�REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> FINDINGS <br /> 1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File #2237. � <br /> � 2. The property is located in the LR-1B, One Family Lakeshore Residential Zoning <br /> District where the minimuxn lot area requirement is 1 acre. <br /> 3. The Orono Planning Commission reviewed this application on May 19, 1997, <br /> and recommended unanimous approval of the proposed variance�based upon the <br /> following unique findings and hardships: . <br /> A.
