Use of Best Management Practices for erosion control during <br /> construction, including but not limited to use of silt fencing and <br /> erosion control blankets where slopes exceed 3:1. <br /> iii. Any retaining walls exceeding 4' in height must have an engineered <br /> design,which shall be approved prior to issuance of the site grading <br /> permit. <br /> C. WETLAND ALTERATIONS. Wetland alterations are approved as shown <br /> in attached Exhibnts B6 tbrough B-12,subject to the required buffer widths as shown in said <br /> . Exhibit, and subject to the following conditions: <br /> i. Use of Best Management Practices for erosion control during <br /> � construction. <br /> ii. Wetland mitigation is subject to approval of the Minnehaha Creek <br /> ! � . Watershed District as Orono's LGU for administration of the Wetland <br /> Conservation Act. <br /> iii. Wetland alterations are also subj ect to Corps of Engineers Section 404 <br /> Clean Water Act requirements. � <br /> iv. Conservation and Flowage Easements shall be granted to the City <br /> over all City-protected wetlands (as modified).�. <br /> v. Applicant shall grant to the City a Conservation and Flowage <br /> Easement over the wetland portion of the Club-owned properly on the <br /> south side of Spring Hill Road west of East Long Lake Road. <br /> 4. FOREST IMPACT MINIMIZATION. Minimization of impacts to the Big Woods portion <br /> of the property,as well as to other forested areas of the property,shall adhere to the following <br /> . general requirements: � . <br /> A. Wetland buffers shall be maximized to the greatest extent possible in forest <br /> areas to protect the wildlife habitat value of the site and maintain the connectivity between <br /> � the wetland and forest communities. � � <br /> B. Runoff or accidental application of fertilizers to forest and wetland areas sha11 <br /> be avoided. Final landscaping and grading plans shall be designed subject to City approval, <br /> where not limited by topography of the site, to divert runoff from these areas to the <br /> i � � <br /> Page 9 of 17 . <br />
