,s.•F. - . , � <br /> ♦ <br /> � O� <br /> • O O <br /> ��b. - CITY of ORONO <br /> � ' ti <br /> '�' RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> ��`qI�E p4�'� NO. �� Q1 L� �1� <br /> � SH <br /> A RESOLUTION GRANTING A VARIANCE <br /> TO MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br /> SECTION 10.25, SUBDIVISION 6(B), <br /> FILE NO. #2336 � <br /> WHEREAS, Bruce Newton (hereinafter "the applicant") is the owner of the <br /> properry located at 3580 Frederick Street within the City of Orono (hereinafter "the City") and <br /> legally described as follows: . <br /> Lots 17 and 18, Block 2, Navarre (hereinafter "the property"); and <br /> VVHEREAS, the applicant has applied to the City for an after-the-fact variance <br /> to Municipal Zoning Code Section 10.25, Subdivision 6(B) to permit the retention of a deck <br /> replacement on the north side of the residence that encroaches into the required rear yard <br /> setback. <br /> • . � NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> FINDINGS <br /> 1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File #2336. <br /> 2. The property is located in the LR-1C Single Family Rural Residential Zoning <br /> District requiring .5 acre in area. The property consists of 14,000 s.f. or .32 <br /> acre. <br /> 3. The Orono Planning Commission reviewed this application on February 17, 1998 <br /> . and recommended approval of the proposed variance based upon the following <br /> � findings: � <br /> 1.
