REGULAR ME"'TING OF THE ORONO COUNCIL, DUNE 30, 1980 <br />Page 24 <br />Jeanre Mabusth, Zoning Administrator, entered into VARIANCE <br />the record the request of Michael Lynn, 1265 Bracketts racketts Point <br />Point Road, for a variance dated June 2', 1980, which #567 <br />states: ael Lynn <br />Zoning District: LR-lA <br />A) Front yard variance required for traveled-, not <br />platted road: <br />R=quired : 5, <br />propos(-d: 34' <br />Variance: 16s - 32% <br />B) Hardships: <br />1. Width of lot 175' - setback from lakeshore <br />of 75' and street setback of 50' <br />2. Location of traveled road as opposed to <br />platted road. <br />The I.ynns request a front yard variance setback of <br />16' for a tennis court 60' X 120'. The subject lot is <br />3+ acres, but a long, narrow lakeshore property. The <br />court will be constructed in a heavily wooded area of <br />the property. The On -Site Septic Systems Manager <br />advises that the location of the tennis court will not <br />effect the existing or future drainfield area. Thu <br />improvement will not create a hardcover problem. <br />The Planning Commission at their meeting of June 23, <br />1980, approved the variance for a tennis court based <br />on the hardships of configuration of the lot and the <br />location of the lake and street. <br />Council Meet i ng - June 30, 1980 <br />Hurr moved, Paurus seconded, to approve the variance <br />request of Michael Lynn, 1265 Brlicketts, subject to <br />the Planning Commission recommendations of .Tune 23, <br />1980.
