Box 66 <br />,/ Orono, l\1N 55323 <br />Phone: (612) 473-7357 Fax: (612) 473-0510 <br />NOTICE <br />The Planning Commission will hold public hearings in the Council Chambers at 2780 Kelley <br />Parkway on Monday, October 20, 1997, beginning at 7:00 p.m., on the matter of reviewing <br />the following land use applications: <br />1. ~~es and Joanne Jundt of 1400 Bracketts Point Road, request renewal of <br />setback and hardcover variances granted in October 1996 for restoration of an existing <br />retaining wall, underground grotto and lakeshore stairway system located within 75' of <br />the lakeshore. <br />2. #2301, Gerald Mccourtney of 1055 West Ferndale Road, requests lakeshore setback <br />and hardcover variances for construction of a driveway gate to be located less than 75' <br />from the shoreline, and requests permission for placement of landscape plantings and <br />expansion of the driveway apron within the City right-of-way. <br />3. #2303, Angela Woodhouse, 2625 North Shore Drive, requests renewal of variances <br />for hardcover, lakeshore setback, and average lakeshore setback to allow for a kitchen <br />addition to an existing residence. <br />4. #2304, Deborah Sholl, 4100 Watertown Road, requests a front yard setback variance <br />to allow an addition and garage on an existing residence that is located within the <br />required front yard setback. <br />5. #2305, Roger and Elizabeth Olsen, 815 Partenwood Road, request a lakeshore setback <br />and hardcover variances to allow a garage addition and remodeling of an existing <br />residence that is currently located within 75' of the shoreline. <br />6. #2307, Ellen Peterson, having an interest in 3355 Crystal Bay Road, requests <br />lakeshore and hardcover variances to construct a deck over an existing driveway to be <br />used as a carport. <br />7. #2309, Paul Larson, 3865 Shoreline Drive, requests lot area and hardcover variances <br />to construct a new residence on a vacant lot. <br />All persons wishing to be heard are encouraged to attend the meeting. Written comments <br />should be sent to Liz Van Zomeren, City Planner/Zoning Administrator at the City offices
