Douglas and Marilyn Holcombe (hereinafter "the applicants") <br /> are the owners of the property located at 1056 Loma Linda Avenue within the City of Orono <br /> (hereinafter "the City") and legally described as follows: <br /> See Exhibit A for legal description (hereinafter "the property"); and <br /> WHEREAS, the applicants have applied to the City for variances to Municipal <br /> Zoning Code Section 10.03, Subdivision 14(C), Section 10.22, Subdivisions 1(A) and 2 and <br /> • Section 10.56, Subdivision 16(C6) to permit the construction, replacement and enclosure of <br /> decks on the lake side of the residence. <br /> � NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> FINDINGS <br /> 1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File #2344. <br /> 2. The properiy is located in the LR-1B Single Family Lakeshore Residential <br /> Zoning District requiring one acre in area. The property consists of 12,204 s.f. <br /> or .28 acre. <br /> 3. The Orono Planning Commission reviewed this application on March 16, 1998 <br /> and recommended approval of the proposed variances based upon the following <br /> findings: <br /> 1.
