The applicant was requesting an <br />after-the-fact variance to allow the existing 5' high wrought iron fence to remain where a maximum of <br />3.5' is allowed. At the meeting on the lih the Council voted 5 -0 to approve the height variance for <br />the newly constructed fence. <br />Planning Commission Recommendation <br />On January 16, 2007, Planning Commission voted 6 -1 to recommend approval of the variance to <br />allow the fence to remain 5' in height. <br />Planning Staff Recommendation <br />Staff recommends approval of the attached Resolution, which reflects Council action of February lih <br />and approves the application as proposed by the applicants. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />Adopt or amend the attached approval Resolution.
