<br /> <br /> <br />Minutes <br />City Council Work Session <br />Monday, February 23, 2026, 5:00 PM <br />City Council Chambers | 2780 Kelley Parkway, Orono, MN 55356 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> <br />Council members present: Mayor Bob Tunheim, Alisa Benson, Jacqueline Ricks, Jon Schwingler. <br />Absent: Steve Persian. <br /> <br />Staff present: City Administrator Adam Edwards, City Clerk Christine Lusian. <br /> <br />SOLID WASTE ORDINANCE <br /> <br />The City Council held a work session to review the city’s solid waste regulations for consistency <br />with state and county standards and offer input on potential future related goals or initiatives. <br /> <br />Staff provided an overview of the city’s solid waste system, the existing ordinance, as well as <br />resident and hauler feedback.
