City of ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY C. NCIL <br />NO. <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PROPOSED PROGRAM FOR <br />YEAR XIII URBAN HENNEPIN COUNTY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br />BLOCK GRANT FUNDS AND AUTHORIZING ITS SUBMITTAL <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono, through c-xecution of a Joint <br />Cooperating Agreement with hennepin County, is a cooperating unit <br />in the urban County Community Development Block Grant Program. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono has developed a proposal for <br />the use of Urban Hennepin County CDBG funds made available to it; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the following proposed use of Community <br />Development Block Grant funds was developed consistent with <br />program rules. <br />Crystal Bay sewer $ 9,500.00 <br />Rehab $14,275.00 <br />and that the balance of any monies not used to <br />pay off approximately half of,,(Iassessmer.t for <br />the outstanding balance of the CDBG be placed <br />in housing rehab. <br />BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Councii of the City of <br />Orono approves the proposed use of Year XIII Urban Hennepin <br />County Community Development Block Grant func.s and authorizes <br />submittal of the proposal to hennepin County for consideration by <br />the Citizen Advisory Committee and for inclusing in the Year XIII <br />Urban Hennepin County Community Development 3lock Grant Statement <br />of Objectives and Projected Use of Funds. <br />Adopted by the City Council of Orono, Minnesota, at a <br />regular meeting held on April 27, 1997. <br />,Tames F?.
