At this time they have <br />not made a decision as to whether they will stay with own police <br />department or will seriously look a the contracting option. At <br />the point that they do express an interest in looking at the <br />contracting option the Council will be presented with a request <br />for authority for staff to negotiate on the matter.. <br />200 HOLLANDER ROAD - The City has been awaiting a letter from the <br />Attorney of tie estate indicating what corrective action they <br />would take. It was indicated that this would be provided to us <br />approximately a week and a half ago but it has not been received. <br />The filing response dates are now coming on April 24th and we <br />will keep the Council informed on action regarding this matter. <br />COUNTY ROAD 116/WILLOW DRIVE - The City of Med,,, again considerd <br />the iss � whether they are going to reques the County to <br />construct 116 at their April 21, 1987 meeting. The Council <br />however ,:hose at that meeting to table it again, so it will be <br />considered at their meeting on May 19, 1987. <br />POLICE RESERVE RECOGNITION DINNER - Following the Council's <br />inicat ion that they felt it apprtpr fate that private donations <br />be obtained approximately $350.00 have been obtained in private <br />donations to sponsor the recognition. This is ci.rrently being <br />scheduled for late in May with thanks to all the individuals who <br />donated. <br />UTILITY MOWER - Currently the City staff is preparing <br />I-r - T <br />specirications and wi'1 be publishing a public notice for <br />bidd ing. The purchase o` a utility mower wi 1 1 be in the range of <br />$12,000 to $14,000 this item is a budgeted item and once bids <br />have been received the staff will bring these back for <br />Council approval. <br />
