41787.9 <br />ORDINANCE NUMBER , SECOND SERIFS <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 28, SECOND SERIES ADOPTED <br />DECEMBER 8; 1986 ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE 1987 FEE <br />SCHEDULE." <br />The City Council of Orono ordains: <br />Ordinance Number 28, Second Series adopted December. 8, <br />1986 and entitled "Air Ordinance Adopting the 1987 Fee Schedule" <br />is amended to read: <br />CONSTRUCTION PERMITS AND INSPECTION FEES (CONT.) <br />SANITARY SEWER CONNECTION CHARGES <br />The connection charge for properties within a designated <br />sewer project area but which were not previously <br />assessed, and for properties outside a designated sewer <br />project area and not previously assessed but obtaining <br />Council approval to connect to the sewer shall be <br />charged a connection charge equal to the original <br />assessment for the pertinent sewer project plus interest <br />calculated at a 7 percentage compound rate. Such <br />charge shall be collected at the time a building permit <br />is issued for new construction, or at the time a <br />connection permit is issued for existing structures. <br />This ordi. e amendment shall be published in the Laker <br />and Pioneer newspaf::>. ,nd shall be effective upon publication. <br />Adopted by the <br />27th day of Apri:, 1987. <br />ATTEST: <br />Counci 1 of the City of Orono on this <br />Jame3 R.
