Mr. Robert Owens
GME Project No. 3766 3 October 19, 1992
Prior to construction, we recommend that a topographical survey be made
of the lot by a Registered Land Surveyor. This topographical survey
would be integral to the successful design and construction of the
slope repair. In addition, we also recommend that test borings be
performed to evaluate the engineering properties of the soils for
purposes of conducting a slope stability analysis. The borings should
be taken within the existing slope and near the crest of the slope.
Due to difficult site access, the borings would probably have to be
performed using hand augering techniques.
We trust this provides you with the preliminary information needed at
this time. We would be pleased to assist you once plans have
progressed further by performing the field exploration and reviewing
the final design concepts. If you have any questions, please contact
us.
Sincerely,
GME AoNsu½J3/1';JJ INC.
~l.,~ 1( I (J -
Gregory R.
