City o f ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF .THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. 1791 <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTING <br />A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />PER MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br />SECTION 10.20, SUE-~ON 3 (G) <br />FILE NO.~ <br />WHEREAS, Judson M. Dayton (hereinafter "the applicant") <br />·is the owner of the property located at 1655 Bohn's Point Road <br />within the City of Orono (hereafte r "City") and legally described <br />, as fol lows: <br />Lot 6, Auditors Subdivison 349, Tracts D, E, F, G, H & I <br />Registered Land Survey No. 565 <br />, WHEREAS, the applicant has applied to the City for a <br />Conditional Use Permit per Municipal Zoning Code Section 10.20, <br />Subdivision 3 (G). to permit a guest apartment within a newly <br />· constructed detached garage. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Counci 1 of <br />Orono, Minnesota: <br />FINDINGS <br />1. This application was revi ewed as Zoning File No. 926. <br />2. The property is locat e d in the LR-lB Single Family <br />Lakeshore Residential Zoning District. <br />3. On June 17, 1985, the Orono Planning Commission reviewed <br />the application as propos e d and recommended approval, <br />finding that the application met the intent of Section <br />10.20, Subdivision 3 (G) of the zoning code and the compre- <br />hensive int e nt of the single family lake shore residential <br />district. <br />4. The City Council has consider e d this application in- <br />cluding the findings and r e commendations of the Planning <br />Commission, reports by staff and comments of the applicant <br />and the effect of the propo s ed use on the health, safety and <br />welf a re of th e community. <br />Pa g e 1 of 3
