A RESOLUTION GRANTING A VARIAN CE <br />TO MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br />SECTION 10.22, SUBDIVISION 2 <br />FILE NO. #2348 <br />WHEREAS, Rick and Mary Jane Hauser (hereinafter "the applicants") are the <br />owners of the property located at 1540 Bohns Point Road within the City of Orono (hereinafter <br />"the City") and legally described as follows: <br />See Exhibit A for legal description (hereinafter "the property"); and <br />WHEREAS, the applicants have applied to the City for a variance to Municipal <br />Zoning Code Section 10.22, Subdivision 2 to permit the construction of a new residence on <br />a vacant lot that will not meet hardcover requirements. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br />Minnesota: <br />FINDINGS <br />1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File #2348. <br />2. The property is located in the LR-1B Single Family Lakeshore Residential <br />Zoning District requiring one acre in area. The property consists of 57,200 s.f. <br />or 1.13 acres. <br />3. The Orono Planning Commission reviewed this application on March 16, 1998 <br />and recommended approval of the proposed variance based upon the following <br />findings: <br />Page 1 of 5
