Rased upon this <br />inspection I `save reached nv couclusior. respecting <br />your question as to whdt effect, if any, will be <br />caused by construction of a new home on the vacant <br />lot imnedintely to the west of your home. The extent <br />to which your property and the property of the neis;h- <br />borhool homeowners of such construction would depend <br />entirely upon the location of the future hone on the <br />lot. <br />If the hone is built directly a6jacent to and on line <br />with your home, it is my considered opinion that it <br />would not only restrict the size and quality of the <br />resale market you could expect for your home, but <br />would also have a deleterious effect on its value. <br />In addition such a situation would seriously digrupt <br />the existing character and continuity of the nligh- <br />horhood. Specifically, it has been my professional <br />experience that there are very few neiphborhoods <br />9tirrotmding Lake Minnetonka which enjoy the compati- <br />hility of sire, design, land utilization and value <br />that currently exists in vour neighborhood. Completion <br />of a home as above discussed would take awav the feeling <br />of openers and privacv and replace it with the hrnphaz- <br />,t,l conditions one sees so often in the surroundinc <br />Lake :iinnetonka areas. <br />
