Background: <br />The Council will interview applicants for open Park and Planning Commission seats. Brief role <br />descriptions and schedule are provided below. <br />The Park Commission is a volunteer group that advises the City Council on parks and recreation. <br />Members review community needs for parks, trails, and recreational facilities and make <br />recommendations for improvements and future planning. <br />The Planning Commission is a volunteer group that advises the City Council on development and <br />land -use issues.
