MINUTES OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING HELD MARCH lb, 1987 <br />#1122 BIG ISLAND VETERAN'S CAMP CONTINUED <br />Present for this matter were Alan Wisdorf and Joe Backes <br />of the Big Island Board of Governors. Mr. Wisdorf <br />noted the reconstruction plan of the Vet's camp included <br />in Planning Commission's packets for their review. He <br />requested that consideration be given in the limited <br />time with which they have to work. <br />Planning Commission and staff felt that it was necessary <br />to provide adequate sanitary facilities and a portable <br />water supply for the workers. It was suggested that in <br />the absence of approved permanent water and sewage <br />systems, the Board of Governors would be allowed to <br />bring in portable toilets and water supply to be <br />verified and OK'd by staff. <br />No one was present from the public regarding this matter <br />and the public hearing was closed. <br />It was moved by Chairman Kelley, seconded by Cohen, to <br />recommend approval of a temporary conditional use permit <br />through September 30, 1987 to be reviewed every 90 days <br />by staff and subject to staff recommendation. Motion, <br />Ayes 7, Nays 0. <br />#112.3 WINDWARD MARINE <br />1144 SHORELINE DRIVE <br />VARIANCES/COMMERCIAL SITE PLAN REVIEW <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />Per applicant's request, thia application was tabled <br />until the April 20th Planning Commission meeting.. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />It was moved by Chairman Kelley, seconded by Cohen, to <br />approve the Minutes from the February 17, 1987 Planning <br />Commission meeting as submitted.
