MINUTES OF THE REGULAR ORONO COUNCIL MEETING HELD MARCH 17, 1987 <br />MAYOR'S REPORT CONTINUED <br />Mayor Grabek stated he hoped to have it accomplished by <br />the end of March. <br />Councilmember Peterson asked about printing the agenda. <br />City Administrator Bernhardson stated that there may be <br />a problem with printing the agenda because the agenda is <br />usually revised and there is at least a week in advance <br />printing deadline date. <br />Mayor Grabek suggested that a list of items that are to <br />be discussed in the following months meeting be printed <br />informing the public to call the City office for further <br />information (date, etc.). <br />Councilmember Goetten expressed concern regarding the <br />cost that may be involved in printing. <br />City Administrator B:+nhardson stated they hoped to get <br />the cooperation of the newspapers to print free of <br />charge. <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR i REPORT: <br />FACILITIES STUDY - <br />CONSULTANT INTERV1uWS <br />Per Council direction from the February 23, 1987 <br />meeting, the Council interviewed the following <br />proponents regarding the City's facility space study and <br />conceptual design alternatives: <br />Korsunsky Krank Erickson Architects, Inc - Project <br />Architect William J. Lawrence explained the history of <br />the firm and reviewed the scope of their services. He <br />explained what was included in their proposal cost and <br />the procedure of tailoring the cost. He noted that the <br />firm does approximately 28 in municipal projects and 10- <br />15E in rehab projects. <br />Boorman i Associates _ President Jack Boorman <br />introaced1-h%eta- Fie <br />David Kroo■ - Project Manager; Cindy Rudko, <br />Architectural Designer; and David Kingman, <br />Independent Construction Cost Estimator <br />all of which explained their individual roles in the <br />project. <br />Mr. Boorman stated that his firm did approximately 40% <br />work in the municipal area; and 50% work in remodel and <br />addition work. <br />
