MINUTES <br />LAKE MINNETONKA CABLE COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION <br />5,00 P.M. EXCELSIOR T.V. STUDIO <br />TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 17, 1987 <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br />Chairman Olds called the February 17, 1987 meeting to order at <br />5:10 P.M. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Marietta Jacobson <br />Greenwood <br />Tim Adams <br />Orono <br />Dennis Haggerty <br />Deephaven <br />Jim Hillis <br />Greenwood <br />Tom Anderson <br />Medina <br />Dean Johnson <br />Shorewood <br />Barb Brancel <br />Shorewood <br />L. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />MOTION 2.17.87.1: <br />Anderson moved, seconded by Johnson, <br />to approve <br />the minutes of the <br />January 20, 1987 <br />meeting. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />III. Public Hearing; The Public Hearing was opened to the public at <br />5:12 P.M. to voice input to the amendments made to the Cable <br />Communications arising out of the transfer of ownership and transfer <br />of the Cable Communications ordinance as amended to Dowden Cable <br />Partners L.P., and also the schedule of rates. The Public Hearing <br />was closed at 5:13 P.M. due to no public input. No vote was taken <br />on the Ordinance amendments due to lack of a quorum. <br />IV. REPORTS <br />A. TREASURER <br />Administratrr Hansen prepared the annual budget report which indicates <br />annual income received in 1986 and actual expenses. Roehl stated that <br />the audit for 1985 was performed for no fee, an audit for 1986 may <br />involve costs and the Commission should think about advertising for <br />bids. Chairman Olds stated that LMCCC is not required to have an <br />audit performed by an outside agency. Adams would like an estimate <br />from the firm which did the 1985 audit at no charge. <br />MOT' " 2.17.87.2: Roehl moved, seconded by Adams, to have Adminl- <br />st• Hansen obtain an estimate from M. F. Denny Co. for prepara- <br />ti the 1986 audit and bring it back to the Commission for <br />discussion <br />B. ADMINISTRATIVE: Just Claims; Administrator Hansen would like <br />approval of payment on a Just claim of $60.00 to Shelly Trinka for <br />the January minutes in addition to the other claims presented. <br />MOTION 2.:7,87.7: Anderson moved, seconded by Roehl, to approve <br />lust claims as amended. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Administrator Hansen attended the MACTA Conference; Kevin Chandler <br />an aid to Representative Tim Wirth was the keynote speaker, Hansen <br />explained it was interesting to hear from a source from Washington <br />to hear their virus on the FCC and future outlooks in the develop- <br />ment of technology. <br />_I_ <br />
